I am a devoted amateur painter with a full time, non-art job. I am learning to see.

I work to interpret the life I know… the inner surreality, if that’s an acceptable word, of a mature woman who chose to leave a nice, easy life for one of challenge, art, complexity, and passion. I have done much shedding, much rethinking and joyful rebuilding, all with eagerness, a bit of fear, and the assurance that I am in the right place, right now.

I believe there are a lot of people in similar life circumstances - who need art to make sense of it all. I need art.  Along with my amazing artist husband, it let’s me know I am alive.
